Way back in 2010 I made a trip to the Perynees with my daughter's family who lived in Toulouse, France at the time. We stopped for lunch at a mountain-side village restaurant at Vascos. I photographed all the antique decor and settled on the theme of the painting. I re-arranged pots, pitures and colors to my liking. In addition I replaced the view of a tree outside the window with a mountain sunset with colors to match the still life.
