Beachcombing is one of our favorite family activities. My husband and I love taking our girls for evening walks to collect shells along the Matagorda, Texas shoreline while on vacation. I enjoy the process of cleaning and arranging the shells into a pleasing composition to paint when we return home. One day, when my girls are a little more grown, I hope to be able to actually bring my paints to the beach!
